Care Center Clinic and Araneta City Celebrate Grandparents Day 2026
Care Center Clinic partnered with Araneta City to kick off Grandparents Day early this year! Held on September 10 and 11, the Young at Heart, Strong in Health: YAKAP Wellness Caravan brought free medical care and joyful entertainment to community members in support of Araneta City’s official Grandparents’ Celebration campaign theme, “Forever Young at Heart.”
Health & Wellness Services
- Free Medical Consultations & Medicines: Senior citizens received free doctor checkups and essential prescribed medications through the PhilHealth YAKAP and GAMOT programs.
- Free Bone Scanning & Vitamins: Event partner BeWell provided free bone density scans and distributed complimentary vitamin packs to help grandmothers and grandfathers stay strong and active.
Fun, Games, & Entertainment
- Showstopping Senior Singers: The true highlight of the celebration occurred when talented Lolos and Lolas took the stage to perform timeless classics. Their beautiful singing delighted the main audience and mesmerized passing mallgoers, who cheered and enthusiastically called for more songs from the volunteer performers.
- Interactive Games & Special Guest Acts: Families enjoyed live entertainment by Osii, exciting raffle draws, and nostalgic activities like the crowd-favorite “Guess the Throwback Photos” game.

The two-day event offered families a wonderful way to prioritize the health of their elderly loved ones while enjoying a vibrant, music-filled day at the mall.
